Hello everyone! Well, finally I have found the courage within myself and I am ready to write. This will introduce me to you. I would like to share with you my impressions about a movie that I have recently seen," Moulin Rouge” by Baz Luhrmann. It has been a long time since I have experienced such strong emotions from a movie. I could not imagine that a movie could influence me so. The fantastic combination between music, cinematography, In addition, the actor’s abilities impressed me much. I could not find anything unnecessary. Everything was on its place and its time. I watched the movie in one breath. From the very first scene, you go to another world. The world of fantasies which are colored so bright and this keeps your attention until the end. You can cry, you can laugh you feel that you are not the observer but one of them.... you are living in that world. You suffer, love, betray, die and are reborn and enjoy of those emotions every minute till the end. Certainly, this is possible only if you can switch off your mind and make all your romantic emotions come up. Even if you are the most practical and reasonable person, who likes to see the dark side of the moon, I suggest you not do that when you watch this movie. It helps you to feel yourself like you were kissed by the pretty girl (or boy) the first time. And you will fly together with heroes to the light. Some spectators probably will not find anything interesting in that story. A prostitute falls in love with a poor but romantic writer. As a matter of fact - there is nothing new. The same and the old story like this world. Just take a look at how splendidly they make it interesting. The humor is fantastic. It's not only a parody on the most well known hits of the last century. The each song is a single story. To be honest I like these interpretations of songs more then the originals. The main sensation that I had after the watching “Moulin Rouge” was: why I could not create the same if I had the same ideas and the same visions, dreams and emotions. I bet each of you have such dreams at least once a life, when you wake up at the midnight sweat and scarred with only one thought: HERE IT IS! My creation! My "baby"! Then you feel like the energy from the entire Universe comes to you and fill you up.... that is what they call the inspiration. What an emotion? I could say this is a mental "orgasm" (or ecstasy if to say in a more common way). It's hard to express myself in a foreign language, but I hope if somebody sees the movie you can share more or less my emotions. I will be glad to discuss about this. Well...wish you a good revision.Yours truly Margo
